The Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC) Data Readiness Artificial Intelligence Development (DRAID) is a five-year Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), enabling the Department of Defense (DoD) to utilize its data resources for use with artificial intelligence (AI). This vehicle will help provide an easily accessible path to access cutting-edge services needed to meet the complex technical challenges involved in preparing data for AI.

Under the BOA, MaxiSoft will support the DoD and JAIC by providing cloud integration, data science, data engineering, data analysis, data architecture, software development and other services to transform the DoD through AI.

The JAIC DRAID enables access to commercial Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) data preparation tools, capabilities, and services; positioning the DoD and its components to effectively prepare data to support the full range of AI activities. The JAIC DRAID is also customizable and extends beyond the core tasks of data preparation (data ingestion, feature engineering, data curation, and labeling), Feature Engineering, Natural Language Processing (NLP), to areas of future interest such as AI security, synthetic data generation, and data representativeness.
